Shaffer Acres is an ethical Bernedoodle breeder in Southern California, focused on raising calm, confident, family-centered puppies. Our Bernedoodles are raised on our ranch in Ventura County and are intentionally bred for sound temperament, health, and predictability in a real family environment.

We specialize in F1b Bernedoodles, selecting parent dogs for gentle behavior, emotional stability, and strong structure. All of our breeding dogs are health tested, and our puppies are raised hands-on with early exposure to people, animals, and everyday sights and sounds.

Our Bernedoodle puppies are raised in Santa Paula, CA, and we regularly work with families throughout Ventura County, including Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. Many families are willing to travel for the right puppy, and we’re happy to coordinate with families from nearby cities.
